We were so happy to speak at a simple one-day workshop about using biomass – that’s plant-based fuel – for clean steam and heat in small businesses. India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy set it up with friends like GIZ and Grant Thornton Bharat. They launched a cool new report called “Decarbonizing Small Businesses: Using Biomass for Green Steam and Heat”, shared by Minister Shri Shripad Yesso Naik. We chatted about how to get biomass, supply chains, making it work better, and green heat ideas. It really shows how small businesses in India can go greener and cut down pollution. Big thanks to everyone for the great talks on making industry cleaner. Partners were the Ministry of Small Businesses, SIDBI, ASPIRE, and TERI.
